It is with much love and gratitude that I write these few lines to tell some of the many things Christian Science has done for us. Over four years ago, all material remedies having failed to help me, I went to see a Christian Science practitioner. I had been very sick, was then just able to walk, and at times felt very miserable. I was discouraged and downhearted when I called on the practitioner, but she talked to me so kindly, telling me that God never sent sickness upon His children; that He is all-power and Love, and would heal me quickly, that I felt much better when I went home. The Bible was a new book to me, and I studied it with Science and Health every day. I had three weeks' treatment and was well, and how happy I felt! I could work all the time and was never tired. Since then I have had many demonstrations in the truth. Several times, when it has seemed hard to overcome severe ailments, I have asked a dear practitioner for help, and she has always been ready to help me. We have seven little ones in our family and there is hardly a day in which we do not overcome error in some way.
I thank God for giving us Mrs. Eddy as our Leader; she is so faithful and true. I am striving to follow on in the path of health and holiness, and hoping to be able to help others as I have been helped.
Mrs. Olive Wilkinson, Custer, S. Dak.
