After first hearing of the good work which Christian Scientists...
After first hearing of the good work which Christian Scientists are doing, it took me ten years to become willing honestly and earnestly to study Science and Health. Since I commenced to study Christian Science with the right thought very many blessings have come to me, and no words can express my gratitude to God, and to the Founder of Christian Science for this healing truth. Soon after I commenced to read our text-book, my youngest daughter, then four years old, was healed of an alarming attack of throat trouble in a half hour, under Christian Science treatment. Two years later, while jumping some distance to the ground, she injured her ankle very badly, but the trouble was completely overcome in two days' time. Many different ailments and troubles have been destroyed for us by Truth. I consider the greatest of all our blessings to be the complete change of disposition in both my oldest daughter and myself. What a wonderful thing it is that in our time has been brought to suffering humanity the knowledge of Life as God, Mind, and that man was not made to suffer but to rejoice.
