I was struck by an express train on a crossing, receiving many severe injuries, and was picked up for dead and carried to a house. Just as they laid me down, a young lady, a Christian Scientist, came to me, and asked if I would have help in Christian Science. I could only beckon, for I could not speak, but in ten minutes all the pain was gone, I was taken home, and the railroad company sent their doctor, who bound up the broken bones and told my wife that if he was wanted in the morning to call him. He was not needed; the young Scientist read nearly all night, and in the morning I was better. Thanks to God, and to Christian Science, in one week I was able to go out.

At the time I was hurt I had heart trouble and a bad abnormal growth, and had suffered from another serious ailment for over fifty-five years, for which I had employed many doctors and specialists, but grew worse. I have taken no medicine since my accident. When one is healed in the truth he is well, and I am rejoicing in a health, strength, and vigor that I never had since childhood, thanks be to Christ, Truth, as revealed through "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, Science and Health did it all.—W. D. Higdon, Jackson, Mich.
