I deem it a privilege to express my gratitude to God for the good that has come to me since my acceptance of Christian Science, and to our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for her life of loving labor which has enabled her to perceive the truth of being and to send the message of healing into the world on the wings of her great love for God and for mankind. The knowledge of God as ever-present good has enabled me to discard glasses; to meet and master many of the earthly woes; to overcome faults of character; to learn love and gratitude, and to rejoice day by day in the spiritual power to receive and bestow help and happiness in fulfilling the command, "Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me." Each step and lesson in Christian Science teaches me to trust our beloved Leader, to love her truly, to love those who have loyally followed her, and in turn to take up the cross and follow faithfully. My heart goes out in gratitude to all who have given of their spiritual riches through the Sentinel and Journal, whose helpful, cheering messages have lightened many dark hours of trial since I was awakened to Life and Truth in Christian Science.—Jessie Morgan Gogorza, New York, N.
