I knew nothing of Christian Science until this last fall, when two ladies, Scientists, came to our city. They came to our home and found my wife and myself groping in the darkness of sickness and sin, and they said they would try and help us if we would let them. My wife had been able to walk but a short distance for three years, and I had had stomach trouble for eight years or more. I had six doctors in that time and used a great deal of medicine, but did not get well. My wife read the Bible a great deal, but we could not see the truth. The ladies told us that God is Truth, Life, and Love. We now see that we had lamps, but did not have them trimmed and burning so that we could see, for we had no oil in them. These Scientists asked me to get "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, and before I had read the book through I was healed, and my wife is getting better every day. Where there was darkness now there is light; where there was sorrow now there is joy. We are glad that those Scientists found us as they did and told us how to live and be well.

We are learning better each day how to know God, and to know that He is with us always. I trust that Mrs. Eddy's book may find others and help them as it has helped us.
