From the time I was thirteen until shortly after my eighteenth birthday I suffered from what the family physician diagnosed as uterine trouble. For three years I was treated by a reputable physician, but received no help whatever. This continued until March, 1905, when I was at home with my mother, from whom I had been separated for fourteen years. She was a Christian Scientist, and upon the recurrence of my trouble she called in a practitioner, who gave me my first Christian Science treatment. A half hour after the practitioner left the house I was able to be up, and since then have never been confined to bed. The treatment was continued one month, when normal action was established and it has continued.

To say that I am grateful would be expressing myself very mildly. I know that I have found the pearl of great price, and I am beginning to taste the joys of life, wherein they who wait upon the Lord shall "run and not be weary."
