For four years I had been a helpless invalid from an injury to the spine, and during that time was under the care of a number of physicians without receiving any help. They tried nearly everything in the line of materia medica, external and internal. I was subjected to some very painful applications.

After four years of medical treatment, not having received any help, and having been given up as an incurable, I was healed by Christian Science in less than two weeks. Since then I have been able to work constantly, at hard work. Word of my healing reached the doctor before I went to see him, and when he saw me he said, "Well, I see Christian Science has made a new man of you!"

I am truly grateful for the little understanding I have of this truth, for it is the All in all to my wife and myself. It has brought sunshine, health, and harmony into our home. We give our heartfelt thanks to God for His loving-kindness to us, that through Christian Science we have been brought out of Egyptian darkness, and for this we owe endless gratitude to Mrs. Eddy.
