I have received so many benefits through Christian Science that it is hard to know where to begin to enumerate them. I will, however, mention a few of the things from which I have been freed through even a limited understanding of this truth which has been given to the world in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy. For twenty years I used alcoholic drinks to such an extent that it was impossible for me to keep a position for any length of time, but through the help of a practitioner, and the study of Science and Health, all desire for intoxicating liquors left me entirely, and I know that I will never be in bondage to it again. I was a slave to tobacco for twenty-five years; also a very profane man. These habits also have entirely left me. Through the understanding of this Science I have also been enabled to regain a position with a firm which some twelve years ago had to dispense with my services on account of my drinking habits.

I wish to express my thanks to God, and to Mrs. Eddy, for this beautiful and practical religion.
