So much of good has been revealed to me through the...
So much of good has been revealed to me through the teachings of Christian Science, that I could not enumerate all of it. So much has been made clear which before was a dark mystery, that I know God as I never knew Him before. When I first began the study of Christian Science I was in the depths of despair. I had suffered form ill health for years, and had come to realize that medicine could never restore me. Like the drowning man catching at a straw, I was ready to grasp anything that promised healing. In Christian Science I found a true and reliable remedy for every ill of mind or body. Through the understanding and practice of its truths I am enjoying a greater degree of health than I had known in years. Troubles with which I used to struggle for weeks, have been made to vanish, and speedily, through this new understanding of God and His Word as given to us by Mrs. Eddy.
I was a member of an orthodox church, a teacher in the Sabbath School, and while I was never fully satisfied with the teachings, I turned to Christian Science it was not for the religion but for physical relief, but what a wonderful religion I have found it to be, —a religion that will save us, now and here, not only from sin but from sickness and sorrow and death. For me it has worked wonders, bringing harmony where there was discord, and peace where there was perturabation. It has revealed the joys of heaven and the joys of heaven and the possibilities within.
I am very grateful to God, and to Mrs. Eddy, His light bearer. To all who are in trouble, or sickness, or need I would say, If you would be comforted, do not delay to read "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures."
