Among the Churches

The three Christian Scientist churches of Milwaukee were formally merged at a meeting last night [ January 11 ] at First Church. The congregation will be known as First Church of Christ. Scientist. It is planned in time to erect two handsome church edifices, one on the East Side and the other on the West Side. On Sunday mornings the congregation of First Church will meet in the Davidson Theatre, but Sunday night service will be held at the Van Buren Street church as usual.

The original Christian Science church in Milwaukee was organized in 1889. It has a congregation at present of five hundred, —Milwaukee Free Press.
