"Undeniable Facts"
[The following excerpt is from a letter by John Brooks Leavitt, Counselor at Law, New York, published in a recent issue of The Church Standard. Mr. Leavitt is not a Christian Scientist, but he seems to have observed the cures wrought through Christian Science and to have satisfied himself of their genuineness.—Editor.]
That cures of the same nature as those related in the New Testament are performed at the present time is now so thoroughly established that no well-informed person is ignorant of the fact. I have personal knowledge of a number, which I have sifted more carefully than I am able to do with those told in the Bible.
Now what answer do our clergymen make to undeniable facts? Let me give three specimens:—
