I write this testimony hoping it may benefit some one whose healing seems slow. In Science and Health, page 22, we read, "Love is not hasty to deliver us from temptation, for Love means that we shall be tried and purified." All sufferers may therefore take courage, for we know that Christian Science is a sure deliverer. Christian Science was brought to my notice by a daughter who returned home on a visit and placed Science and Health in my hands with the remark that I might be interested in it. I eagerly read its pages, and soon found that it was what I had been looking for,—a religion that satisfies. In reading this wonderful book I was cured of neuralgia of the head which dated back twenty years. I also laid off glasses which I had worn for years. While I still have difficulties to overcome, I know that by patient adherence to Truth I shall be the victor. Words fail to express my gratitude to God, and to Mrs. Eddy, who through her consecrated life has brought us this Christ-truth.—Mrs. C. A. Wood, Chicago, Ill.
