I have desired for a long time to add my testimony to those already published in the Sentinel. Were I to enumerate the blessings which have come to me since my first knowledge of Christian Science, they would be more than could be told. I first became interested in the beauty of the Christian Science teachings as set forth in the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy. A number of ailments have been overcome by the understanding of the truth therein taught. I was brought up to love the Bible, and have always read it with reverence, but seldom with understanding. It is now a new book to me,—a thousand times more beautiful and helpful.
I am only one of the thousands who think of Mrs. Eddy with love and gratitude for making plain to them the Word of God. I am grateful every day for her lovely life and patient labor, and daily am I trying to follow her as she follows Christ.—Mrs. Barbara Ramage, McGregor, Ia.
