Following the birth of my child, thirteen years ago, I was never well. I had severe abdominal troubles, headaches, etc., and after having treatment from several physicians, one of them told me that I could not live much longer. I did not know what it was to be free from suffering. At last I lost the use of my limbs and was confined to an invalid chair. I was taken to different places for medical treatment and baths, but without any good result. About two years ago, they were taking me to New York to a hospital when I heard of Christian Science and was speedily helped. A copy of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, was loaned to me and I began to study it at once, but did not take treatment until later. At last I took Christian Science treatment from a practitioner, and I have been healed of all the ailments referred to, with many more that space and time will not permit me to mention. I was brought back from the grave, as it were, by Christian Science treatment and by reading Science and Health. I can now do my own work, and go to church, walking to the car and from it, when for three years I had not walked at all. After receiving Christian Science treatment, I began to improve at once and grew stronger each day. I could never tell what Christian Science has done for me, but would say I am truly thankful every day to God, and to Mrs. Eddy for this blessed truth that makes us free. I indeed suffered many things of many physicians.
Mrs. Cora E. Walker, Youngwood, Pa.
