After years of suffering and great expense for doctors and medicine, I was still without healing. In December, 1898, the crisis came. Three physicians diagnosed my case, without reaching an agreement. Our family physician, in whom we had implicit confidence, told me my only hope was to submit to an operation for the removal of an abnormal growth. Acting upon his advice, every arrangement was made to go to a hospital, when I was persuaded to try Christian Science. I bought a copy of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, and began to take treatment. In less than six months I was entirely healed, the growth coming away and the organs and functions doing their work harmoniously. For nearly six years Christian Science has been my only remedy and I have enjoyed better health than ever before.
