is generally conceded that a person who has an opportunity to ascertain the falsity of a statement, but fails to avail himself of it and puts forth the false statement as the truth, stands in the same relation to the public as does one who knowingly falsifies; and if this is true in general, why should a different view of such conduct be taken when Christian Science and Christian Scientists are the subjects of misrepresentation?
Christian Science
teaches that the reign of Truth in the individual and in all the universe is also the reign of beauty, for "beauty, as well as truth, is eternal;" that the divine ideas are ever presented in "spiritual and immortal forms of beauty," and that we shall be both beautiful and grand "when governed by immortal Mind".
