THE STREET IMPROVEMENTS IN CONCORD

We feel sure that our readers will be pleased with the following excerpts from a few of the letters received by Mr. J. Wesley Plummer in connection with the fund for the improvement of certain streets in Concord, N. H.; in fact, all the letters received by Mr. Plummer express the pleasure of the writers in taking part in these improvements which will contribute so much to the comfort of our Leader.

"Please accept the enclosed check to be used for street improvements in Concord. It is indeed a privilege and pleasure to help, ever so little, to 'smooth the pathway' of our beloved Leader, who has done so much for us in showing the high-way to health and holiness, wherein and whereby we have been inexpressibly blessed in innumerable ways."

"I feel the deepest gratitude that I am privileged to add the enclosed amount to help complete our Leader's desire, for through the study of her wonderful works my pathway has been illumined with peace and happiness."
