For a year and a half I suffered with my right arm to such an extent that I had almost lost the use of it. I tried medicine, and one surgeon used the X-rays three times a week for a month, only to give up the case as hopeless, as other physicians had done. I then made a trip to Florida, in hopes that the tropical climate might do me some good, but all to no avail. My last medical adviser told me that medicine would not bring relief, but that if I ever gained the use of my arm again it must be from some other source. I was discouraged and disheartened, but a kind friend advised me to try Christian Science, saying that it could do no harm and that Christ had not lost the power to heal the afflicted. Acting upon his advice and trusting in God's Word, I began treatment in Christian Science. At first it was hard for me to let go my old belief, but finally, as I yielded to the spiritual, I became whole, I am now following my usual occupation; can use my arm freely, and have gained strength again.
