Having been thoroughly healed through Christian Science of a disease known to materia medica as incurable, I joyfully contribute my testimony. For five years I was a sufferer from this disease, and was finally advised by my doctor that an operation was necessary, to which I consented. It soon proved to be of no avail, as the trouble re-appeared worse than before, and one year later I consented to another operation. I was sent to the hospital and after the operation I hoped that I was cured, but one year later the same trouble re-appeared, worse than ever. I again consulted my physician, who advised another operation, which worried me very much. A dear friend who knew of my case, and who is a Christian Scientist, asked me if I would like to try Christian Science treatment. I agreed to do so and went to a testimony meeting. I was very much impressed with the experiences given. As I had not received any help from medical treatment, nor an assurance of any, I decided to try Christian Science. After the first treatment I noticed a change. I took four treatments in all and was entirely healed. I am filled with gratitude for the help I have received. I am also very grateful to our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy, who has revealed this grand truth to us,—a truth which not only helps us physically but morally. I hope to know more of it every day, as I have found it to be the way of peace and happiness.
