I was raised in Denmark, in the State Church, and the danger of eternal punishment was strongly impressed on my mind. While the way of redemption was not made clear to me, my fear of being eternally lost was very great, My people came to this country when I was thirteen years old. and after I was grown and married my health failed. After six years of suffering I was healed of a complication of diseases by Christian Science. I took up the study at once, and never again went back to medicine. My first copy of Science and Health was the twenty-third edition, which I prize very highly. I am entirely free from the fear of being eternally lost, and my gratitude is greater than I can express. I am satisfied, as I have indeed found a religion that heals and saves to the uttermost, and my earnest prayer is to have this truth and show others the way out of error.

I wish to express my gratitude to God, to our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, to our Publishing Society for the Quarterly, and to all who contribute to our periodicals.
