Notices

Orders will now be received for a new pamphlet of one hundred and twelve pages, entitled. "Christian Science and Legislation." The main article, which gives title to the pamphlet, is a carefully prepared argument by Judge Clifford P. Smith; this is preceded by an introductory article by Edward A. Kimball, "The Endeavor to Handicap Truth," and followed by an article by Judge Septimus J. Hanna, "Christian Science: a Practical Religion." Following these articles are representative testimonies, which show how Christian Science has proved itself to be an effective curative agency when other means had been tried and found unavailing. Several pages are devoted to pertinent editorial comments, and the appendix is a record of attempts made to frame laws adverse to Christian Science practice, with satisfactory amendments finally adopted, or annulment of the attempt by vote of legislators or by a governor's veto.

The pamphlet is a timely discussion of the rights of citizens to secure such aid as they have reason to rely upon in cases of sickness, as well as a proclamation of the rights of man to practise the Christian religion according to the teachings of Christ Jesus. The following prices will be made: Single copies, ten cents each: twelve copies, one dollar: twenty-five copies, $1.85: fifty copies, $3,50. Address all orders to The Christian Science Publishing Society, 250 Huntington Avenue, Boston, Mass.
