Though young in Science we have had several demonstrations...
Though young in Science we have had several demonstrations in our family that assure us of the benefits derived from even a little understanding of Christian Science. A little over three years ago our eldest boy was afficted, to mortal sense, with eczema. We had treatment by our family physician; and as he grew worse, we called on a specialist who gave medicine internally and by external application, but the boy grew no better. A physician informed one of the family that we might expect the child to have eczema. more or less, for seven years, and then he might not be entirely cured of it. The city physician ordered the child from the schools, and advised that we give him nourishing food, and let him play out of doors in the dirt. Just prior to this we asked a practitioner to take the case in hand. At first it was difficult to overcome, but inside of seven months the child was healed.
We are thankful for the understanding and we are experiencing more or less of the influences of Science. We have three children in the Sunday School of the Mother Church, and my wife and I attend each Sunday morning service. It was most certainly a wonderful cure in the case of our child, as a number have said.
