I am grateful for a healing, that was practically instantaneous, of an abnormal appetite, which I had since childhood. When a child I was always hungry and as I was permitted to do so, I was nearly always eating, particularly sweets,—apples, etc. Plenty of exercise, and lack of fear kept me from actual sickness, but my health was never good, and this appetite was not overcome.
After I came into the Christian Science Church and began to attend the meetings, to read Science and Health, and to work mentally as instructed, the appetite increased apparently, though I had approved and tried to realize the motto given by our Leader, "Mind, not matter, satisfieth." At last the healing has come, and I rejoice to know that I have a perfect stomach. I rejoice in realizing the dominion, given by God to man, as applied to my own body, love working out the law of Love, Principle manifesting itself in perfection. I am grateful for this, and for all that I have received from Christian Science.
