When Christian Science found me I was filled with disease, an invalid of many years' standing, but very much worse just then on account of believeing that one who should love us had cheated us out of our property, and thus there were added to the physical ills a deep sense of hatred for that one who had caused me and mine to suffer. I had called upon God in prayer for help, but my prayers were never answered. The one comfort I have now in thinking of the past is, that I never cursed God or turned from trying to find Him.

When Christian Science came to me I knew that at last my prayers would be heard, for I learned how to pray. The Bible teaches that we must pray believing that we have received; and through Christian Science I have learned in part what that means, and Love instead of hate rules me. I am in perfect health and those I believed had robbed me are my friends. When I demonstrate harmony in my life and home God's presence is there, and I know that God is omnipresent. When I demonstrate the power of good over the evil called sickness, I know that God is omnipotent.

I am sincerely grateful for the blessings received through the study of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by our beloved Leader; and also for class instruction. Our Christian Science periodicals always bring joy and gladness with them. My heart is filled with thanksgiving, and the hope that these words may help some dear one.
