"A just acknowledgment of Truth, and what it has done...

"A just acknowledgment of Truth, and what it has done for us, is an effectual help" (Science and Health, p. 372).

On the second day of January one of the worst blizzards ever known in Cleveland was raging, but in spite of the severe storm it seemed best for me to reach my home, a short distance out of the city.

As train time drew near I found that the storm had stopped the street cars from running to the depot, so I was obliged to walk a distance of three long blocks. The wind was so severe that it blew me against buildings and I waded through snowdrifts so deep that at times it seemed as though I could not take another step, but I repeated over and over again that beautiful thought, "Divine Love always has met, and always will meet, every human need" (Science and Health, p. 494), also, "My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness."
