I have been deeply impressed by the loving appeal of our Leader to those who will unite with her in the "pure purpose of demonstrating love even to loving their enemies" (Pulpit and Press, p. 29).

Although I cannot express in words my appreciation of her beautiful life and service to humanity, I can say in simple phrase, and with a heart that is striving to follow her counsel, that I am seeking to fulfil this loving request in my own life; and will through God's dear grace, faithfully struggle till it be accomplished.
