Having suffered from chronic dyspepsia for over twentysix years, and having taken, I think, every drug and herb used in such cases with no good results, I tried patent medicines, but received no benefit.

I then abandoned them all and tried various home remedies, but for all I grew so weak and lethargic that it was with the greatest difficulty I could walk any distance. At this time a friend left me some Sentinels with other Christian Science literature, which I gladly read and approved.

This was a little over four years since, and soon after my daughter came to see me. and asked me if I would like her to treat me. to which I readily assented, though not expecting to receive much benefit from the same, as she had only been in Science a few months herself. To my agreeable surprise, however, I began to gain strength at once and soon had a good appetite for food, and could eat almost anything without discomfort. I am to-day, and have been for the last four years, in good health and am happy in the understanding of Truth.
