Letters to our Leader
WE are privileged to publish the following interesting letters, addressed to Mrs. Eddy. They will be welcomed and appreciated by our readers.—Ed.
Washington, D. C. January 14, 1903.
Dear Mother:—May I be permitted, as a student's student and as one who loves our blessed Cause and its beloved Leader, to use this dear name? Daily in the past dozen years, has my heart gone out in love to you, and often have I thought to put this love and gratitude into words, but your busy life and the hesitancy to intrude in any way has as often deterred me. But now my heart overflows in words, and if this missive should never reach your eye, still it is my debt to God and His messenger, and I follow the leading.
