The Lectures

First Church of Christ, Scientist, was filled with a representative audience last Tuesday evening, March 3, to hear the lecture by Rev. Irving C. Tomlinson of Concord, N. H. The lecture was introduced by Mr. W. Roach, First Reader of the church. Rev. Mr. Tomlinson's manner and delivery are scholarly, and his earnestness and logic carried conviction and held the close attention of the audience to the end.—The Westmount Advertiser.

A lecture which was largely attended was given under the auspices of First Church of Christ, Scientist, of Herkimer, on January 27, at the Grand Opera House, by the Hon. William G. Ewing of Chicago. This church was organized November 28, 1902, with fifteen charter members. Our congregation has grown rapidly and a larger hall is needed at once. We know that Love leads and guides us in each step in this glorious march.—Correspondence.

Carol Norton, C.S.D., of New York City, delivered a lecture on Christian Science at Odd Fellows Hall under the auspices of the Christian Science Society of this place, February 19. Allen H. Armstrong, C.S.B., of Seattle, introduced the lecturer in a few well-chosen words. The audience of more than five hundred was a representative, attentive, and apprenciative one. This is the first lecture on this subject delivered in our seaport town.
