Among the Churches
With much joy we report the opening of this branch church organized November 16, 1902, with a corporate membership of twenty members. The work was commenced here in August, 1902, and has steadily though slowly advanced as people have become aroused and benefited morally, physically, and spiritually.
The increased interest and desire to learn concerning the way of life as taught in Christian Science, has now seemed to warrant the opening of a place for public worship. The Masonic Hall on Main Street has been secured. Regular Sunday services are held, also our Wednesday evening testimonial meeting. A Sunday School has been organized for the children and a reading room opened.
Sara J. McCullough, Clerk.
