The Master said, "Seek ye first the kingdom of God." Do we always seek first the kingdom of God? When we are attacked with disease, or any discord, do we not often work to get rid of the discord instead of seeking to uncover and destroy within ourselves the sinful sense that may be the procuring cause of the discord?

If we always seek to uncover and destroy with the law of Truth, sin in self, we shall, through this purification of self, become better healers, demonstrating more successfully the power of Truth and Love over every false material condition, and thus bring much good to mankind and give joy to the faithful Leader who, as God's instrument, has been the means of bringing to mankind this great blessing, Christian Science.
