The author of the Christian Science text-book takes no patients, does not consult on disease, nor read letters referring to these subjects.

A large number of letters and telegrams from the Field, have already been received in response to our Leader's suggestion respecting the tenure of office of the Readers in the branch churches. The nature of these responses indicates an immediate and unanimous recognition of the wisdom and far-reaching good of this advance step.
