For sixteen years I was never without headache
For sixteen years I was never without headache. Indigestion made it impossible for me to eat anything but the simplest food without suffering, though I took medicine every day. I also was a constant sufferer from a so-called incurable trouble which at any moment might confine me to my bed. Specialists were appealed to with discouraging results. Finally the decision was arrived at that a most serious operation was necessary, which it was hoped might give me a moderate degree of freedom from suffering.
The great fear and horror I had of such an operation, made me willing to try Christian Science treatment, which had cured one whom I knew. The relief from pain after the first treatment, I shall never forget. I fully expected the pain to return, but it never has. The terrible conditions which the doctors were sure existed, have all disappeared, and I am free indeed. I cannot express my gratitude for the understanding of the Principle which heals all our diseases. Whenever some error has been overcome by my understanding of Truth I feel as though something very precious had been born to my consciousness.
To our dear Mother, who has made it possible for me to realize such happiness. I hope to express my gratitude by helping others to know the Truth.
