After wearing glasses for a year and a half and taking...
After wearing glasses for a year and a half and taking electrical treatment most of that time, and receiving little help, I became discouraged and decided to try Christian Science. I laid aside my glasses, began studying, applied what I learned, and in two or three months I was cured of astigmatism and a disease of the optic nerve caused by overworking the eyes. Both the doctor and the oculist said that I would have to wear glasses all my life. The doctor also said that one of my eyes was so diseased that it probably would never be very strong. We learn in Christian Science that man need not be governed by these material laws, and I am glad to say that my eyes are stronger than they have been since I was a child and my sight is perfect. I have been helped in many other ways and am very thankful for the understanding that I have of Christian Science.
