Help in Student Life

Last year, my sister and I were at a college where the rules were very strict. We were the only Christian Scientists in the college and in an old conservative town. Christian Science helped us through many long, hard days which sometimes seemed rather dreary. We were away from all Scientists, but Science was with us, for we cannot be separated from Truth. Many little troubles were quickly overcome. In the spring I had a severe illness—one that was plainly seen by the teachers and by the other students. Absent treatment was received. Curious eyes were turned upon me, and many advised me to see a physician; but it was not long before relief came, and all saw the "present help," and knew that Christian Science was the only remedy.

In our examinations we were helped to realize the everpresent Intelligence. In many tasks that were ours to perform we realized the sustaining power of the one Mind, and at the end of the college year we were in better condition, physically, than at the beginning. For all these helps, and many others, we are grateful.
