There are three things for which mortals everywhere are seeking: love, peace, and joy. But how perverted is the world's sense of these. It thinks to find within itself that which can only be found in God—Good.

Jesus said, "In the world ye shall have tribulation." They who are in the world, in the belief of life in matter, are asking, "Where can we find love, peace, and joy, and how are they to be obtained?" Jesus did not stop when he said, "In the world ye shall have tribulation," he added, "but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world." "I, my ego, the Christ of me, has overcome the world by knowing and proving there is no such thing as matter with its deceptive false sense."
