I feel that I can no longer refrain from telling something...
I feel that I can no longer refrain from telling something of what Christian Science has done for me, and I desire also to express the vast benefit and happiness I have obtained from reading the Journal and the Sentinel; also I wish to return my cordial thanks to those kind friends here and elsewhere who have helped me on different occasions and spoken the word in season.
Above all I wish to thank God that I have learned in a small degree through the teachings of Christian Science, something of the real, which dissolves our illusions and destroys fear. As I learn more of what is real I find there is nothing to fear, and we only fear as we live in the unreal world of the senses, where all is fleeting and nothing is permanent.
While never a physical sufferer to any extent, Christian Science nevertheless found me a prey to an abnormal physical condition which I had had as long as I could remember, and which I did not then know was unnatural. After the exercise of much patience and perseverance on the part of my healer and more or less on my own, the condition has been met after some years and I am now absolutely exempt from physical ailments of any kind.
