"Among the Christian Science Churches"

The Granite Monthly, published at Concord, N. H., is one of the old reliable magazines of New England. It is devoted to literature, biography, history, and state progress as witnessed in the various manufacturing and other business enterprises, educational institutions, and religious organizations of the state. While it is a New Hampshire magazine and is of especial interest to those who live in the state or are bound to it by social and kindred ties, yet it contains many things of interest to all who are rejoicing in the growth and advancement of their fellow-men.

To the Christian Scientists throughout the world, the May number is especially interesting on account of the excellent article entitled, "Among the Christian Science Churches" by Henrietta H. Williams. The article is written in the author's well-known, pleasing and instructive manner, and contains much of an historical nature that is of interest not only to Christian Scientists, but to the public in general, and especially to those who are seeking reliable information regarding the great work that is being accomplished by Christian Science.

The article is illustrated by twenty half-tone reproductions of exterior and interior views of the Mother Church and various other churches in different parts of the United States, Canada, and England. These illustrations give one a definite idea of the work that is being accomplished in this era of church building. Many of these churches are substantial stone structures of modern architecture and stand as monuments to the faithful and enduring work that is being accomplished in Christian Science.
