The Lectures
Judge Ewing of Chicago, delivered a lecture on Christian Science at the Lyceum Theatre last night (Saturday, May 12) before an audience which filled the auditorium to the doors. Ex-Mayor Latrobe, ex-Police Commissioner W. W. Johnson, Mr. John B. Ramsay, and Mr. John Gill, Jr., were among those present.
The lecture was given under the auspices of First and Second Churches of Christ, Scientist, of Baltimore. Members of the two churches acted as ushers. The stage was beautifully decorated with tall palms and evergreens.
Judge Ewing was introduced by Judge Henry Stockbridge, of the Supreme Bench, who said:—
