Grateful to the Pioneers

It is with a deep sense of gratitude for Christian Science and all that pertains thereto, viz.: Science and Health and all other works of Mrs. Eddy, the Journal, Sentinel, Lectures, and Sunday morning and Wednesday evening services, that I am moved to write a short testimonial to the Sentinel.

In a recent number, March 29, mention was made of the pioneer Scientists and what a debt of gratitude we owe to them and to Mrs. Eddy, the pioneer. I should in all probability not have been writings this at this time but for the efforts in my behalf of two noble women, who began pioneering here some thirteen years ago. After years of study and searching after the Truth, they at last found in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" that for which they had so long been searching. From that time on they have stood for the Truth in this community.

There are many in this city who are grateful to these two pioneers not only for the healing which they have received, but also for the knowledge of Mrs. Eddy and Science and Health, and the consequent spiritual uplifting which comes to those who strive to overcome error with Truth.
