Saved from Despair

One year ago Christian Science came to me with its sweet healing influence. I was one whom innumerable sorrows, trials, and sickness had driven to the very edge of the black abyss, despair. After three weeks' treatment by a loyal student of Mrs. Eddy, I was convinced beyond a doubt that Christian Science is indeed that pearl of great price, to buy which we would sell all we have. My little son, three years old, was also raised from an invalid to a healthy Christian Scientist, and when his little ills appear, he promptly denies them.

We enjoy the Sentinel and Journal, with their useful thoughts, very much, and we are thankful for them.

The New Church Messenger has the following: "What the church needs is so to learn the manner of divine revealings, that her ministry and her people may know the Word as a stairway to the heavens, up and down which the angels of God are forever progressing."

The New York Witness says, "The earthly life of Christ, though complete in itself, was only a beginning as concerned his great work for the salvation of men."
