Quinsy and other Diseases Healed

Ever since I can remember I had the quinsy. Sometimes I could not eat for a week, only drink a little milk, and sometimes I would hardly be able to do that. Last fall it seemed to come on severely. Although I could eat, I could not speak aloud. My mother thought I must have a doctor, but I said to her, "You know when I had a doctor, I was in constant pain, and could not eat; but now I am taking Christian Science treatment, I can eat and I have no pain, and surely my voice will be all right too." And so it is; I have not had the trouble since.

My husband was treated for his eyes. He was almost blind. He had treatment between two and three month, but he was patient and the Scientist that treated him was as faithful as she could be. Now his eyes are clear and he can see better than he ever could. He also had a very severe attack of diphtheria, which was overcome in one night.

Our little boy seemed to be ill one Sunday morning. He was very cross and in the evening we noticed red spots on his face, but did not pay much attention to it. The next morning the spots had become very bad. I wrote to our healer at once to treat him. She received the letter Tuesday. The case seemed stubborn for a day or two, but then the spots started to heal, and by the next Sunday they were all gone, only red spots left; but now there is not a trace of it on his face. A number of children were afflicted in the same way. They were under the doctors' care, and it was from three to four weeks before they were well. The people here who have opposed Science, thought it was wonderful that the child was healed so quickly.
