The following is an answer to the query in the mind of your correspondent from North Easton published in your issue of December 30 last.

I readily agree with your correspondent that "the idea of developing one's spiritual nature as a means of physical health is not new." Indeed, the idea itself may not be so new to this age as the practice of it. The work of developing one's spiritual nature is greatly aided by the comprehensive and clear definition of the nature of God as taught in Christian Science: for to be spiritual is to be godlike. Through Christian Science we have a definite idea of what God is, even an understanding of His very nature; and this constitutes a definite idea of what we must do to be like Him.
