Healed of a Disease Pronounced Incurable

Through the columns of the Sentinel I wish to express my thanks and gratitude, for the messages of love which have come to me of late through its pages. Through the issue of January 4, I seemed to have received such a blessing that words are inadequate to express my thanks. Through the reading of the "By-laws" the scales have fallen from my eyes, and I know I am a better woman. It was such a glorious message of impersonal Love. I have felt ever since that I was standing on holy ground. I also feel very, very grateful to the editor, the committee on Lesson-Sermons, and last but not least, to all contributors. Above all I want to say to the dear Mother, "The only desire I have is to consecrate my life to the work of Christian Science, and to try, as nearly as I can, to be obedient, and follow in the footsteps of one who is laboring so unselfishly for all mankind." I was healed in Christian Science some six years ago of what materia medica called an incurable disease. From the very first glimpse I had of this Truth it was settled in my mind, This is the way of Life, and I have never doubted for one instant the efficacy of the Word as taught in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker G. Eddy.
