Our Contributions

Not less unique than the Christian Science method of distributing its literature is the manner of supplying the same. No small part of the matter published in the Sentinel is made up of carefully selected articles from other publications. Many of these are articles bearing upon Christian Science in some of its phases, written by Christian Scientists. Each issue of the Sentinel also contains a number of original articles from the pens of Christian Scientists. These are all voluntary contributions, written in the interest of the cause, and for no other purpose than to do good.

The Journal is now almost wholly made up of original articles, including that invaluable department covered by the general heading of "Notes from the Field."

These contributions, one and all, are the free and spontaneous offerings of hearts burning with a holy zeal to make known the happy theme so dear to them. They are written out of the joy arising from actual experience. They are the exuberant outflow of a higher and grander perception of life and its infinite meanings. They are the glad acclaims of a new birth — a spiritual awakening such as the writers had not believed possible to them on this plane of existence.
