Healed by the Word

One of the local Christian Scientists sends this contribution :—

Last Sunday in the congregation of the Christian Science Church was reported a case of healing by the everpresent Christ, or by the understanding of the Word which was read from the pulpit. The case healed was one of acute neuralgia with which a lady was suffering, and it had troubled her for years. When the paroxysms would come they had frequently put her to bed for several days, during which time she suffered the greatest agony. She was perfectly healed by hearing and understanding the word of the Gospel.

The Bible had been read and then when the First Reader was reading the hymn, which was written by Rev. Mary Baker Eddy, —
