Through the mere reading of one chapter in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," I was transformed, and healed completely of a claim of heredity, a disease that had been fastened on me from my birth. I suffered all my life, from this false man-made law until the law of God made me free, through Christian Science. The chapter on healing in Science and Health revealed to me the unreality of the evil belief in the laws of heredity, the false claim of the carnal, or mortal mind that says the children must suffer for the sins of the parents, and I was made free, I never doubted for one moment that every word in that book was the Truth, although I did not understand it all by any means. I have since learned how and why I was healed by simply reading the book. Every word in that book is the true idea of God, which has been demonstrated and proven to be the Truth. The Truth that Jesus said, ye shall know, and it shall make you free. I shall never cease to thank God daily for Christian Science, for its Revelator, our Mother, whom we all love, and shall never cease to love, for her faithful, unselfish devotion to God and His cause, and for the great Revelation, Science and Health, which enables us to read the Word of God with spiritual understanding and discernment never known before. — Ella G.
