Recognizing God's gift
Beatrice Labarthe
Originally appeared on spirituality.com
God's wind of integrity cleanses my world,
His wholeness shields me from harm.
God's warmth drives out illness and doom,
Her wraps of love make good motives bloom.
God's word enlivens my habitation
His wealth of ideas enriches relations.
God's wisdom, compasslike, points the way.
Her laws sustain me every day
and soften
my temper
until I can hear
Her silent message:
“Be of good cheer,
for Love is here.”
God's ever-present love:
