On July 7, I had a 10am appointment in my office, which is right by Tavistock Square. But then I had to cancel that appointment for another assignment, which kept me from going into London that day.
That morning, someone rang to ask me if I was okay—she had just heard about the bombs that exploded near my office. I ran to the TV to get the news.
