Testimonies of Healing

The healings we publish are verified by people who can vouch for the testifier or who know of the healing. Examples of Christian healing from individuals and families around the world have been published in the Christian Science periodicals for well over a century.

The most recently-published testimonies are at the top.

It is with the greatest pleasure that I testify to the saving power of Truth as demonstrated in Christian Science; truly, indeed, if we know the truth, the truth does make us free.
Some years ago while feeling very weak and depressed, with a sense of utter failure and inability to be happy for long at a time, or to live what I thought to be the life of a true Christian, I cried out to one in the home that I knew I could never be either happy or well until I could love God more.

The more fully we accept the spiritual nature of birth, the more effortlessly we can demonstrate that nothing has occurred from which one needs to recover.

I have received so much help and encouragement from the testimonies in our periodicals that I feel I should try to express my gratitude for all the help Christian Science has been to me, especially during the past five years.

It has been proved to me that Christian Science is the very best thing that ever came into my life.
Christian Science came to me through the healing of my mother, for which I am deeply grateful; but it is for what this truth has done for me that I now wish to express my sincere gratitude.
In Isaiah we read, "The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined.

The demand for church

I like to think of each church that grows up in a community as that community's answered prayer for the presence of the saving Christ—the message of God's love for humanity.

When first I became interested in Christian Science, it was through the desire to encourage one who, I thought, felt the need of a religion.
The time has come when I can clearly see the great benefits I have received from Christian Science, and I now wish to let others know something of my experience.
Before I had any conception or understanding of Spirit or Principle, as God is revealed to us in Christian Science, I was one of the most unhappy people in the world, for I was clinging to a belief in chronic stomach trouble, colds, headaches, skin diseases, nervousness, pains and aches of so many descriptions that I can recall only a small part of them; for at times it seemed that if I could pass from this world I would be all the better for it.
Words are inadequate to express my gratitude for all that Christian Science has done for me since I first heard of it, now some eight or nine years ago.

As is recalled by many, the last line given to us by our dear Leader was, "God is my Life".
I accept the invitation of the editors of the Sentinel.
